How content gets made
I use AI to draft the first version of most pages on this site, then I rewrite them by hand. Here is exactly how it works.
- Outline. I figure out what the page needs to cover, the key points, the audience.
- AI draft. I ask an LLM to produce a rough draft. The draft is usually too wordy, too generic, and uses words I would never say.
- Rewrite. I cut about half of it, rewrite the rest sentence by sentence, add examples from my own experience, and check every factual claim.
- Verify. If a page includes numbers, pricing, limits, or API behavior, I verify those against the actual code or configuration. If a tutorial says to click a button, I click it myself first.
I do not publish AI output directly. Every page on this site has been edited by a person (me). I make no claim that my content is better than AI output, just that a human signed off on it.

Why I am telling you this
Two reasons. First, I think it is the right thing to do. Second, I want you to know that when something is wrong, it is my fault, not some model's hallucination. And I will fix it.
Corrections
If you find something wrong, a broken link, a bad instruction, a factual error, email me. I correct mistakes within a day of being told about them. If the error is significant, I add a note to the page explaining what was changed and when.
